Laser hair removal removes unwanted hair permanently by targeting and damaging the root of the hair.
Using the Cynosure Apogee Elite+ laser, the laser itself is attracted to the pigment in the hair damaging the root and leaving behind a small stem. Over the next 2-3 weeks, the skin will naturally push this stem up and out. Once these hairs fall out there will be a period where there is very little hair.
With a new cycle of hair growth approximately 6 to 8 weeks for the body and 4 to 6 weeks for the face, you would be coming in for your next treatment. Several treatments are required due to the different cycles of hair growth. Normally 5-8 sessions are required for best results.
Laser hair removal can be performed on most areas of the body, with the exception of the eye area.
