Spa Facial Treatments

What Is A Facial Treatment?

A facial treatment is a skincare procedure used to cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate the face. Some facial treatments are designed to calm the skin and relax the mind. Other treatments are more rigorous, addressing skin issues like acne, dryness, aging, sun damage, uneven skin tone and more.

What Is Included in a Spa Facial?

A traditional spa facial is performed by an aesthetician and typically begins with a thorough cleansing to remove dirt, makeup, and other impurities. This is followed by exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and steaming to open the pores. Blackheads and whiteheads are extracted, and a soothing hydrating mask is applied. Some facials include a relaxing massage to stimulate blood flow to the face and neck. A facial usually concludes with the application of moisturizer to hydrate and protect the skin.

Other types of facials include advanced procedures to treat skin imperfections and stimulate collagen production. We offer microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments, radio frequency (RF) facials, and chemical peels to rejuvenate and brighten the skin.

EXPRESS FACIAL

An express facial cleanses, exfoliates, and moisturizes your skin, even when you are pressed for time. It gives the skincare benefits of a regular spa massage, excluding extractions and massage.
____________

WELL-BEING FACIAL

A well-being facial is a traditional spa facial. In addition to cleansing, exfoliation, and moisturizing, any blackheads or whiteheads will be extracted, and you will be treated to a relaxing face and neck massage.
____________

CUSTOMIZED FACIALS

Our licensed skin care specialist will assess your skin’s needs to customize a facial for you. An individualized facial brings out your skin’s best features and addresses challenges like acne, dryness, aging, and more.
____________

MICRODERMABRASION TREATMENT

Microdermabrasion is available as a standalone treatment, or it can be paired with a full facial to achieve maximum benefits. During a microdermabrasion session, a special applicator with an abrasive surface is used to exfoliate the outer layer of the skin. This provides more thorough exfoliation than a regular facial and improves skin tone and texture.
____________

DERMAPLANING TREATMENT

Dermaplaning can also be combined with a facial to resurface dull, damaged, or dehydrated skin. The process uses a surgical blade to gently scrape away impurities, dead skin cells, and fine hair, leaving your skin smooth and refreshed.
____________

PLATELET-RICH PLASMA FACIAL

A platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facial, also known as a “vampire facial” harnesses the healing power of your own blood’s growth factors to stimulate cell regeneration and boost collagen production. A small blood sample is collected and centrifuged, and the PRP is gently injected or microneedled into your skin to improve skin tone, and to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and scars.
____________

RADIO FREQUENCY FACIAL

A radio frequency (RF) facial uses a radiofrequency energy device to stimulate the skin’s natural collagen and elastin production. This gentle, non-invasive procedure lifts and tightens skin, improves skin texture, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
____________

CHEMICAL PEEL

A chemical peel uses a liquid solution to exfoliate the damaged outer layers of the skin, removing dead skin cells to reveal smoother and brighter skin underneath. Not only can a peel uncover glowing, smoother skin – depending on the depth of the peel, the procedure can treat fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, melasma, age spots, and acne scars.

What are the Benefits of a Monthly Facial?

Monthly facials have many benefits for your skin, appearance, and overall well-being. Regular professional skincare provides deep cleansing, exfoliation, improved moisture retention, and anti-aging benefits. It also carves out self-care time from your busy schedule. Knowing that you are caring for the most visible area of your body is a great feeling.
