Botox® for Hyperhidrosis
Sweating is a normal and needed body function. However, some people sweat more than what is needed. While overactive sweat glands, or hyperhidrosis, is not dangerous, it can cause great embarrassment. Botox injections use botulinum toxin to stop the nerve signals in charge of sweat glands from generating too much sweat. Numbing cream is applied to the affected area and several small needles will be injected. Clients, on average, should start seeing results in five days, with full results shown after two weeks.
