CO2 Laser Resurfacing

If crow’s feet, laugh lines, smoker’s lines, or other wrinkles are bothering you, CO2 laser resurfacing may be the answer you are looking for. CO2 laser treatment for skin resurfacing is highly rated for both success rate and safety when used on moderate to light skin tones.

What Is CO2 Laser Resurfacing?

CO2 laser skin resurfacing uses focused and targeted beams of light to remove a thin top layer of skin. While doing so it also stimulates deeper layers to help generate new, tighter skin in its place.

How Does CO2 Laser Resurfacing Work?
Our DEKA SmartXide DOT™ uses pulses of laser light to remove the top layer of skin a few cells thick. The laser penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the water in the cells, vaporizing the epidermis and stimulating collagen growth in the deeper level of the dermis. This form of wrinkle laser treatment has a history of success stretching back to 1964.

Smartxide DOT is a fractional CO2 laser by Deka. Unlike traditional CO2 that treat the whole skin surface, DOT technology creates microscopic columns of thermal injury leaving surrounding skin intact. This speeds up recovery time and stimulates natural collagen production.
